The Space Coast

Port Canaveral happens to be located just a few miles from Kennedy Space Center and is a visit you do not want to miss while on the Space Coast. In fact, you just might see one of the recovered SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets sitting on a barge in the port as you start your cruise. These rockets are recovered after launch by landing on one of the SpaceX barges in the ocean. They are then brought back to Port Canaveral in a vertical position on the barge for transfer to the Kennedy Space Center to be reused.
